The 35th Precinct

I've got two ideas for my lyric_ficathon fic, which is due on November 1, but the weather may preclude me from working on them until Wednesday. In the meantime, I've got to study for my midterm, pay the phone bill, and scurry out to Best Buy for CSI:NY S2. I've been waiting for my Flack fix since it was announced.

In the happiest of fandom news, I won two out of the three CSI Fanfic Awards for which I was nominated. Field of Dreams won for Best Character Study CSI:NY-Don Flack, and Brothers and Sisters(Everything I Can't Remember) won for Best CSI:NY Angst. I am so very, very pleased, especially since "Field of Dreams" was originally written for someone who was never arsed to actually read it, and yes, you can bet your ass I'm bitter about that.

Congratulations are in order for goddess_loki and stellaluna_, who both won in multiple categories, and I highly recommend them both.
