I found a gorgeous Thranduil poster at Walmart this afternoon. I have no idea where I'm going to put it, but it's mine now. I'll have to buy a poster frame for it when I get the chance because tape would ruin it. I wouldn't have found it if I hadn't decided to putter through the video game bric-a-brac section on a whim. It was shoved unceremoniously into a sad little alcove next to the self-serve photo kiosk.
Speaking of serendipitous finds, while I was back there, I spotted both an Atari emulator and one for the Sega Genesis. Both came preloaded with sixty games, and each was thirty bucks. If I were still a regular gamer, I would've snatched the Genesis, but I haven't played regularly since I moved, and besides, I don't have room for yet another console. Still, it was a nice jolt of childhood nostalgia.
