The Year in Fic 2008

Just a heads up: If anyone has received an email from me, it isn't. I received something suspicious from GMail yesterday and opened it before I realized that might've been a bad idea. Shortly thereafter, my computer had a meltdown, restarted itself, and then claimed to be unable to detect an operating system. Thankfully, a restart corrected the problem, and I haven't detected a virus, but better to be safe than sorry. So if you receive a Gmail from me, delete it, unopened.

As you might've noticed, I've been lax in LJ updates. Frankly, my life of late has been as interesting as a three-hour seminar on fecal slides, so I've spared everyone the thrilling, blow-by-blow accounts of my trips to the bathroom and my channel-surfing safaries. A happy by-product of my Internet inertia is that I've made remarkable progress on my various ficcing projects. As a result, "C Is for Confession" should be posted by the weekend.

Alas, that means it won't be completed before the new year and thereby won't be included in my fic list for 2008.
