Dear Criminal Minds,
There are a few things you should know about my state for future reference:
-Jacksonville is not riddled with swamps. There are lakes and sinkholes, yes, but by and large, the residents of Jacksonville live on dry land. The swamps are further south, stretching from Orlando to Miami. These would be the Everglades.
-Middleburg is within jurisdiction of Jacksonville PD. Pay attention.
--Duval County woods are pine, not deciduous, California trees.
-Yes, Florida is hot, but by October, it is usually not hot enough to make grizzled policemen whine like children. And if the A/C was broken, the fans most assuredly would have been running full bore, never mind the dust they blew.
-In your attempt to portray my state as realistically as possible, you forgot to have Derek wrestle heroically with a palmetto bug. We lose several unfortunate souls a year to these monstrous bugs, a fact which goes unreported for the sake of tourism.
