I'm finding NoScript to be a cumbersome pain in the ass, and yet, I like the security of surfing without fear of encountering a malicious script. I suppose I'll ride it out for a while longer to see if my dislike is simple unfamiliarity or true dislike.

I'm not yet done with Sprache XI. Apparently, Richard enjoys his sex. I'm hopeful that I will finish tomorrow, but this, of course, presupposes no catastrophes like interruption by mother or the advent of the Red Bloat, which transforms me into an inert garden slug capable of nothing more than incoherent grunting and ravenous consumption of anything edible.

I tried Cherry Vanilla Pepsi recently because I was a huge devotee of the short-lived Black Cherry Vanilla Coke that was here and gone like a glimpse of love lost a few years ago and was hoping for a substitute. Not so much. The vanilla was quite strong, but the cherry was nonexistent, and the end result was a Pepsi cream soda, which was treacly and unappealing.

Happily, I also tried Birdseye Voila Chicken Teriyaki. I have found my new guilty-pleasure food. It is so yummy. Granted, it's not on par with a good Chinese restaurant or even Sarku Japan, which is the greatest mall food ever, in case you were wondering, but it's hardly your usual frozen swill. The water chestnuts give it an exotic crunch, and the soy sauce is just unctuous happiness in my mouth. It would be even better if it weren't $5.18 a bag. It's two dollars cheaper at the Walmart in the slightly more developed backwater down the way, however, so mayhap when my monthly trust stipend arrives next week, I'll make a run and stock up.

And yes, I know that Walmart is the corporate Pol Pot in a blue box store(though mine is a lovely terra cotta). I don't care. It allows me to eat decently, if not well, and save a few farthings every month. If it's a choice between thriving and suffering in a futile bid to save the livelihoods of people who wouldn't piss on me if I were on fire because I'm a big-city outsider who voted for that damn sand nigger who's out to turn us into Muslim Communists(I know this because PC said so at the compulsory gratitude dinner last week), then I know which I choose, thank you.

And that's the state of the Guera today.
