Fie on Thee, Then, Thou Feckless Lackwits

No movie today. We decided we'd rather be sloe-eyed sluggards instead. Thus, we went to the grocery store for lunches and a few snacks, and now we're settled in until Wednesday, when it'll be time to renew my library card and ensure another year of endless entertainment for pennies on the dollar. Roomie and I are such frequent patrons that when he goes in without me, the librarian automatically goes searching for the inevitable hold. What can I say? Only a fool would turn down the chance to read a limitless number of books for an annual pittance.

I've posted the ninth chapter of the fic no one is reading. It's clear that as far as the reading public is concerned, it's a dud, but I enjoyed writing it, and I still consider it some of my best work, so fie on them.

Off to eat salad and work on my next magnum opus.
