NCIS was a huge disappointment. Not only is Jeanne Benoit still alive, damn her, but she got to play the hero, and it was revealed that she is Le Grenouille's daughter. Agh. To his credit, Roomie called this development several episodes ago.
This opens up two possibilities:
1. Tony has known all along that he was boning Le Frogette. In fact, that was his assignment. However, the feelings he was faking have now become real, and he's not sure he can extricate himself. If forced to choose, he'll choose the job, but not without angst.
Or
2. He had no idea that he was kissing Le Frogette and will now be fraught with angst that he was a breath away from blowing out her old man's brains. He or Sheppard will kill Le Grenouille, and he will be filled with remorse.
The third possibility is that Le Frogette has been playing Tony the whole time as a distraction. She's clinging and pressing him to buy a house because it's her job to keep tabs on his doings and fuck information out of him. Her antics in the morgue demonstrate she's got bald balls and ruthlessness to spare.
I don't care any way you slice it. I wanted her gone, and she isn't, and worse yet, we've buckled in for an upcoming season of Jenny angst now that it was revealed that Dear Old Dead Daddy Sheppard isn't dead. Yeehaw. Who gives a shit? Not me. This revelation will only serve to make her more self-righteous and clit-dicked than ever, and I can't wait for the inevitable explosion of Daddy Issues when she finally finds him during sweeps next year.
C, and that's being generous. Numb3rs handily wins my vote for Finale of the Year.
