I've got one more chapter of the fic no one is reading to post, and then I can be shut of it. After this, I don't want to hear any sniveling from readers about how nobody writes fic or creates fanart anymore, woe, oh, woe, who will think of them and their boredom, and don't writers know how awesome they are? No, we don't, because you're too lazy and spineless to even click the kudos or like button, let alone string together a sentence. It's too hard, and too scaaaaary, and pushing a button might cause an anxiety flare, uwu.
Fine. You are within your right to be lazy and to feed your puling learned helplessness. By the same token, writers and artists are within their rights to decide your laziness, cowardice, and indifference are no longer worth their effort, and to either find something else to do with their time and energy or keep their work to themselves.
In the future, I will write when and what I wish, and the next time I see somebody moaning about the long delays between updates or the mountains of abandoned or stalled WIPs that litter the ficcing landscape, I'm going to choke a bitch.
