I really should learn not to read articles about disability issues on the Internet. It's terrible for my blood pressure. No, genius, the ADA doesn't guarantee disabled people the right to the best seats, nor should it. What it is supposed to ensure(but rarely does in practice)is a chance at access to goods, services, and opportunities that the able take for granted. That the seats set aside for the disabled at this venue were in the front row is pure coincidence, and a miracle, at that. Usually, disabled seats are on the perimeter or in the rear. They are wherever the venue decides to put them, and their location is not regulated by state or federal law. So, no, the cripples aren't gaming the system to screw you poor, oppressed able folks out of "the good seats."

Who's entitled now?
