So, remember that anxiety attack I wrote about last night? It persisted throughout the day today and is only now beginning to subside. Whee. Anyway, I did some research, and while anxiety might certainly play a role in these episodes, I'm beginning to think my gallbladder is the primary culprit. All the symptoms fit.
If it is, I'm just going to have to live with it, because most doctors have stopped accepting Medicare, and in any case, forty percent of patients who have the removal surgery continue to experience symptoms. Additionally, some experience urgency and continence issues, which if you have limited mobility and need help in the loo, is a Very Bad Thing. And most gain weight.
So, I'm going to modify my diet a bit and see what happens.
