Pain. Oh, the pain of contracting uterine muscles. The Red Bloat is upon me, and this morning, I asked God to give me my own funstick and set of testicles in exchange for my useless womb. The addition of tackle to my toolbox wouldn't faze me in the slightest, nor would it dampen my lust for the good Detective Flack. It'd just mean I'd probably have sticky eyes until I mastered its secrets.
The Bloat has sapped my energy, but I did manage more work on my latest Flackfic, which is nearing completion. Thank God, because my Brass fic is in dire need of attention before the August 10th deadline. I have to start Brass by Wednesday, even if that means shunting Flack to the back burner.
Tomorrow is ficcing and vegging day with Roomie, and then on Monday, I will trudge to Comcast 's local office and deliver unto them far too much money just to keep my favorite homicide detective streaming over my airwaves. Much as I question CSI:NY's direction and feeble attempts at continuity or plausibility, I'd be in sad shape if I couldn't fill countless entries railing at its viewer-insulting incompetence.
Now, if you don't mind, I'm going to watch Supergator on Sci-Fi. I know it'll be bad-terrible, in fact, but it'll hurt so good. Bring on the hilariously earnest acting and CGI badness, baby.
