I think Eddie Cahill has infected me with the Hockey Virus. I caught myself watching the Rangers on TV and shadow-boxing like Floyd Mayweather, Jr. at an electroshock session. Alas, Eddie's fanboy mojo wasn't enough, because the Rangers lost 5-4. I wonder if he'll come back to his blog for a farewell post or skulk off in despondency.
I found the rhythm for my SPN fic and logged 1460 words yesterday, but nothing thusfar today. I'm lethargic and unengaged, preoccupied with the high humidity and impending juggernaut of That Time of the Month, and a Flack drabble is banging about in my basement. So, I'm not sure if more SPN will get written today. Maybe I'll be reinvigorated by dinner.
( CSI Finale SPOILER )
Well, screw you, Miss Fox. I'm all for labor negotiations, but your penchant for drama is a matter of record. If you really want to leave the show, then you have no right to dictate the means by which that happens. You deliver your scenes and exit stage left. You do not try to hedge your bets in case you want to come crawling back.
I can only assume that you were lying when you said you were ready to move on. You were hoping to hold them up for more money on your new contract. You've tried that once before. How'd that work out for you? If I recall, you got fired and only came back because Dourdan and Petersen went to bat for you. The lesson obviously went unlearned, but I'll say it again:
You're not that important.
If I were Marg Helgenberger, I'd kick your ass for making me fly into Vegas to cover your tantrum. You're an unprofessional, selfish drama whore, and I have zero sympathy for you. By your own admission, you've made a ton of money. Why derail a carefully-planned story arc because you want a bigger slice of the pie?
