The weather today was atrocious. We suffered two severe thunderstorms in four hours, which meant that I got shafted out of Criminal Minds, but I did see CSI:NY. The Tanglewood case was brilliant, and Carmine Giovanazzo earned his faux Emmy tonight. The story of him and Louie just had me fifty kinds of verklempt, and props to Louie for looking so tragic with the tape over his eyes.
The B case of the Croaked Banker in a Blanket was pretty much whitewashed by the Tanglewood arc. It was obvious that Zuiker put all his eggs in the Messer basket. They shoehorned it in as filler, and I cared not a whit about either the victim or the perpetrator. The uneveness of the episodes is going to come back to bite the show eventually.
The revelations in tonight's episode require that I revise my current chapter of Through a Glass Darkly... I may be writing CSI:NY crackfic, dammit, but I'll be damned if I'll write sloppy, Kaminsky crackfic.
