Online Fandom: A Double-Edged Sword

You are not pestering me at all. Indeed, I am most flattered. Of course you may quote me. If I hadn't wanted what I wrote to be disseminated, I would not have put it on my LJ for all to see.

I apologize for not answering your other question about online fandom. I've been mulling it for a few days, and I still cannot synthesize how I feel. If I had to put it in simplest terms, I'd say that my love for online fandom is equalled only by my frustration with it. It is Eden and Pandora's Box all in one, and for every joy it brings, there is a corresponding price that must be paid.
