Glad Tidings!

Though it shows no sign of raining yet, I am hunkered in the safe confines of Strozier Library, my belly full of ersatz ground beef from McDonald's. If the rain hasn't shown by seven or eight, I'm going to mosey home, but if it does, I'll just go camping at the University Motel again. In the interim, I could get started on my research paper, which is due in ten days.

I said I could; I never said I would.

In all likelihood, I'll do the following:

-Post for wheeled_witch

-Post for fascinare

-Read CSI: Binding Ties

-Read Toni Morrison's Jazz for class

-Collect research material for paper

I won't do all of these things, of course. Every time I post a list here, less than half of the listed items get completed, but it's a nice selection from which to choose.

Class is going well. I got my first paper back from the instructor-A. Go, me! Short of a coma in the last week of lessons, I have assured myself of at least a B, and that assumes I will do no better than a C on the final paper. I am very pleased. Apparently, a leaky intellectual rectum is not a requisite for academic success. What a relief.
